Are you an experienced direct salesperson that would like to sell cutting-edge geospatial technology into the North American Utility market?

We’re currently supporting an innovative software vendor providing a geographic information system for enterprises. They strive to give the whole business accessible and actionable information, and an easily adoptable smart map view of its network. Ultimately resulting in improved collaboration, efficiency and reliability.

The ideal individual will be ambitious and have a high-energy personality. Attracted by the opportunity to grow business within new and existing enterprise accounts.

The role

This is a well-rounded, end-to-end sales role. From lead generation through to deal management and closure. Adopting the organizations sales methodology – a value selling framework, the individual will execute account plans, present comprehensive solutions and negotiate at the senior levels of customer organisations.

Their product excels within the utility market, serving providers of electric, gas and communications.

The requirements

In addition to a bachelor’s degree, the successful candidate will:

  • Have over five years’ experience closing enterprise software, SaaS or PaaS deals.
  • Be able to utilise experience of building executive level relationships at key utilities.
  • Have a demonstrable record of selling software into the North American utility market.
  • Be able to grasp technical concepts and translate into business value for the client.
  • Have the gravitas, knowledge and communication to be credible in complex discussions.
  • Have a very high level of personal drive, motivation and a results orientation.
