Our client is seeing a hungry and ambitious Sales Director to join their team across the Nordic region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of experts constantly working to develop new solutions to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.

They offer a range of innovative products in the fields of orthopaedics, general surgery, gastroenterology just to name a few, all designed to provide better patient outcomes, minimise patient discomfort, and reduce healthcare costs. They continue to be a trusted partner for healthcare professionals and organisations around the world.  
 
The role 
As a Sales Director, you will lead, mentor and foster the sales team members for the orthopaedics business in the Nordic region. You will plan and attend regular one-to-one catchups with the team members to give direction, set work objectives, and measure progress. 
Other responsibilities include: 

  • Providing a clear base for employee recognition and development  

  • Achieving sales targets in the Nordic region 

  • Developing and ensuring delivery of sales forecasts 

  • Owning and managing the business review process 

  • Working with the marketing team to develop strategies  

  • Coordinating and executing pre-tender work 

  • Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Inspiring trust within the team 

 

 
The requirements 
You’ll have experience in the medical devices, surgical, or orthopaedics space, as well as… 

  • Degree level educated 

  • Proven track record in sales and business development  

  • Experience in the Nordic region or with Nordic customers  

  • A strategic thinker 

  • Strong leadership skills 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Leads by example 

  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends 

  • Natural ability to get the best out of others 

  • Fluent in English as well as proficiency in Danish, Norwegian or Swedish  

  • Flexible and willing to travel the extent of the region 

  • Prepared to travel internationally on occasion
