Our client is currently looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join their team in North America. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that likes to work hard and have fun while doing it. You will be supported by virtual training, meetings with peers and business partners, and sales practice to begin your sales journey.

Our client is a leading software platform committed to playing an essential role in securing the safety of workers across the oil and gas, mining, construction, and utility industries. Their SaaS platform analyses data based on a unique risk model to propose a personalised safety routine that reduces work-related accidents. Employers across the globe have been empowered by their safety software to reduce costs, ensure safety compliance, and save lives. 

The role 

As a Sales Development Representative, you will join our client’s professional sales team and follow up on marketing inquiries as well as hunt for new business opportunities with the goal of setting appointments.  

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Seeking out new business opportunities through outbound calling 

  • Focusing on outbound campaigns and business development activities 

  • Utilising a proven consultative sales methodology  

  • Leveraging current technology to nurture potential leads 

  • Participating in interactive training and educational sessions  

  • Consistently achieving and exceeding daily activity and sales targets  


The requirements 

You’ll have 1+ year of sales experience, with a successful track record in a solution-based selling environment, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing 

  • Experience with software and/or SaaS product sales  

  • Process industry and B2B sales experience 

  • Experience working with customers in a C-Level environment  

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial Inside Sales environment  

  • Dynamic, adaptable, and able to think outside-of-the-box 

  • Able to keep a learn head when faced with new challenges 

  • Self-motivated, high-energy individual  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office) 

  • Strong proficiency with MS applications and CRM tools (including 

  • Experience selling over the phone and cold calling
