Our client is looking for a highly energetic individual to strengthen their sales team and work alongside their talented, mission-orientated colleagues. For the past ten years, our client has grown rapidly and currently consists of over 110 employees with offices in Norway, Denmark, the UK, and the US. Having just gone through an additional round of funding, the team are keen to expand.  

The company 

Supporting some of the largest and most progressive utilities globally, our client is a leading provider of AI-powered solutions covering the inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure. Their software solution revolutionises the operation of Power Utilities and transmission and distribution networks.  

 

The role 

As a Sales Development Representative, you will focus on generating new, promising leads down the sales pipeline to be taken on by your account executive. You will build a deep level of product and market knowledge to lay the foundations for well-founded discussions with stakeholders.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Connecting with new, prospective customers through cold calling and email 

  • Guiding customers through the first steps of the sales process 

  • Generating leads and building long-lasting relationships  

  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects  

  • Identifying best practices and helping to improve our client’s lead generation processes  

  • Reporting to sales managers with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years of professional experience in the intended field of work, as well as:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant technical discipline 

  • 2-3 years of sales experience with a portfolio of successful lead generation 

  • Outstanding communication skills via email and telephone 

  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills 

  • Knowledge of using Hubspot or other CRM software is desirable
