Do you want to work with an innovative portfolio of spinal implant devices? A key market player in the spinal and orthopaedic space is currently looking for a Sales Associate to join their team and grow new business within the spinal market.

With a fantastic reputation in the orthopaedics and spinal markets, their goal is to improve the quality of life for patients with spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. By working closely with surgeons and other clinical experts, their products are specifically designed to meet their needs and provide the very best in patient outcomes. 


Recently they have made huge advances in the surgical robotics field, and now boast a robotic navigation platform that is designed to improve efficiencies and patient safety in spinal surgeries. They are truly at the forefront of technological development! 


The role 

As Sales Associate, you’ll act under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager to ensure that clinical coverage is maintained within your defined sales area. You’ll be responsible for full customer support and liaison with territory Account Managers as well as supervising day to day operations. You will effectively market our client’s product portfolio, utilising a consultative approach to surgeon, prospective and existing customers.  

Other responsibilities include:  

  • Gaining full knowledge of the product portfolio, offerings, and surgical techniques  

  • Understanding customer needs and professionally positioning the products above the competition  

  • Providing support, information, and intelligence to guide planning processes  

  • Ensuring targets set by the Regional Sales Manager are met  

  • Managing recourses within the sales area 

  • Building relationships with key decision makers and opinion leaders 

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the market  

  • Submitting expense reports monthly  

  • Ensuring that quality service is experienced by the customer base  


The requirements 

You will have: 

  • Degree Educated within a scientific, medical, or relevant discipline 

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Hunter mentality and eager to learn  

  • Able to build strong relationships  

  • An enthusiastic and can-do attitude, with a drive to succeed 

  • An understanding of healthcare/anatomy and a passion for sales 

  • Willingness to travel and cover clinical procedures in various geographical regions
