If you’re looking to begin your career in the medical devices industry and have been in sales for a couple of years, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Our client is seeking a keen Sales Associate to join their team across the South West of England. 

 
The company

Our client is one of the fastest-growing medical device distributors across the UK. They produce cutting-edge solutions within the spinal, ENT, sports medicine, and pain management markets. They pride themselves on their close-knit culture and are excited about their progress and expansion across Europe and the Middle East.

 
The role 

As a Sales Associate, you’ll procure a network of trusted, credible relationships with key customer stakeholders in your area and across the wider UK. You’ll become an expert regarding the technical and methodological requirements of the spinal product portfolio to ensure customer issues are addressed through our client’s solutions and support business growth. As you grow in this role you’ll have ample opportunity for career progression. 

 
Other responsibilities include:

  • Building strong, long-term customer relationships

  • Maintaining and growing business in the territory 

  • Identifying business acquisition opportunities to increase revenue growth

  • Translating complex technical information into simple messages

  • Supporting studies running at designated sites 

  • Maintaining high-level knowledge of market trends 

 

 

The requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a sales role with evidence of success, or experience in a Clinical environment, as well as:

  • Degree Educated in a relevant Scientific discipline
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to maintain a strong personal impression

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite) 

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Resilient and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment 

  • Willing to take on a commercial role 

  • Full UK driving license and able to travel across the territory 

  • Keen to develop personally and professionally
