Do you want to kick start your career in medical device sales? Are you a recent graduate who is outgoing and commercially focused? Our client is currently looking for a Sales Associate to join their team in London and support sales activities for a portfolio of surgical medical devices.


The company

Our client is a well-respected, dynamic medical device organisation who specialise in surgical energy devices. Their mission is to provide innovative energy products that are used in surgical procedures around the world. They are supported by a strong research and development arm, joining forces with leading universities and hospitals in product development processes.


The role

As a Sales Associate you’ll be focused on supporting sales activities in the London territory, by providing sales and customer service support. You’ll help to grow business and open new accounts to grow our client’s market share in the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing sales activities for the product portfolio in the London territory
  • Providing sales support by offering guidance to surgical teams on equipment handling
  • Delivering sales and training presentations
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers (including clinical and non-clinical stakeholders)
  • Supporting the sales team
  • Recording customer activities (database management and CRM)
  • Attending exhibitions and conferences
  • Product training and presentations
  • Keeping up to date on the latest clinical and technical data for the product portfolio


The requirements

Our client is looking for someone who is driven and eager to develop a career in the medical device sales space. 


  • BSc degree (preferably in a lifescience subject) or a Nursing qualification
  • Familiarity with operating room environments
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Able to build relationships and rapport
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to work autonomously but also as part of a team
  • Personable and outgoing
  • Highly motivated and driven to develop a career in medical device sales
  • Good at problem solving
  • Full UK driving license
  • Able to travel across the London territory
