FMC Smart Industry are currently partnering with a leading supplier of Quality Management System solutions who are currently looking for a Sales Agent to join their team in the Netherlands and grow their business across the region. 

The company 

Providing Quality Management System solutions (QMS) to enable companies to automate and integrate manufacturing and quality processes into their business, our client aims to lead in the implementation of Quality 4.0 in companies around the world. Working across a wide range of industries, from aerospace to oil and gas to electronics, our client provides on-boarding, installation, and ongoing product support to their customers to provide data-driven automation solutions. 

 

The role 

As a Sales Agent you’ll execute the entire sales process and be responsible for hunting for new business and developing andmanaging existing accounts in the region. You’ll be responsible for sales activities such as customer support and product demonstration; by acting as a consultant, you’ll provide an exceptional level of customer responsiveness and propose solutions linked with their business strategy that will position our client as their partner of choice. 

  • Hitting and exceeding revenue targets 

  • Proposing solutions linked with customer strategy 

  • Delivering customer satisfaction by putting strategies and processes in place to meet customer needs 

  • Participating in regular customer meetings, in both virtual and live settings 

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts 

  • Collaborating with the wider business to showcase the company’s products and solutions 

  • Maintaining a high level of industry knowledge and expertise 

  • Promoting a results-orientated cultures 

 

The requirements 

The ideal candidate will have a strong track interest in the manufacturing and quality industries, as well as: 

  • Degree HBO or MBO educated, in a relevant discipline 

  • Able to confidently provide technical demonstrations and installations 

  • Evidence of achieving and exceeding sales targets 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English. German, Spanish, or French language skills would be a bonus 

  • Ambitious and driven with strong commercial acumen 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Familiarity with CRM and MS Office systems 

  • Able to thrive in an autonomous environment 

  • Located in the South Netherlands and willing to travel 

  • Keen to develop both professionally and personally
