The role 

As Sales Account Manager, you’ll become a trusted advisor to their customer base through building new and existing relationships. You will promote best practises to drive value and return on investment, renewing customers and upselling to hit quarterly and annual targets.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring customers achieve their broader marketing and email goals 

  • Building relationships with key decision makers and contacts  

  • Finding upsell opportunities across enterprise customers 

  • Demonstrating new products and features onsite  

  • Conducting quarterly and annual check-in meetings  

  • Maintaining strong product solution knowledge  

  • Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual renewal and upsell targets  

  • Identifying and pursuing new business revenue opportunities 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 
  • Tracking and reporting all information in salesforce.com 

The requirements 

The successful candidate will have experience selling into marketing and advertising departments, as well as…  

  • 2-5 years’ experience in an account management role in a B2B SaaS company 

  • Prior experience managing customer relationships, renewals and upsells  

  • Impeccable customer service skills 

  • Organised, analytical and entrepreneurial  

  • Strong emotional IQ  

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce or a similar CRM 

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite) 

  • Results driven and hunter oriented  

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
