Our market-leading client is continuing to experience business-wide growth and is searching for a Sales Account Manager to join their UK sales team and become a critical part of achieving their ambitious growth objectives for the future.

The role 

As Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for articulating the benefits of our clients’ product portfolio to targeted accounts. You will be instrumental in addressing the growing demand and importance for secure, ethical, and effective data management in the UK.  
 
Responsibilities include:  

  • Identifying new business sales across specific vertical markets 

  • Successfully closing renewal business and expanding existing business 

  • Building strong pipeline and leads 

  • Advising customers on effective and ethical data management 

  • Conducting remote and face-to-face solution presentations 

  • Developing a sales strategy for the clients’ solutions 

  • Managing the CRM system efficiently and effectively 

  • Providing accurate and timely management reporting  

The requirements 

You will have extensive enterprise technical sales experience. As well as… 

  • Strong understanding of the entire sales cycle from qualification through to close 

  • Demonstrable experience managing and upselling to existing customers 

  • Track record of over-achieving against quarterly and annual targets 

  • Able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

  • IT security market knowledge a plus 

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office) 

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively  

  • Able to think outside of the box and quickly under pressure
