FMC Smart Industry are supporting a growing digitalization company who enable asset-intensive companies to operate at their full potential thanks to their cloud-based data analysis and machine learning solutions. Their unique software and AI algorithms allow for precise results and greater accuracy for leaders to form their business-critical decisions on. Their clients benefit from having a full view of production processes across the entire plant which helps to decrease costs, asset downtime and waste whilst improving efficiency.

Additionally, they are the world’s first organisation to bring to market an AI process performance solution for asset management/health!

The role

Whilst a new business on the market, their software is ready to go and they’re experiencing a large demand in North America. As such, they’re expanding into Europe and grow the region and are seeking a knowledgeable, experienced and dynamic Sales professional to utilise their background of industry 4.0 software sales into the process manufacturing markets.

You will join a growing team of talented sales professionals to help source new business in the industrial and process manufacturing sectors. You will be required to engage and build meaningful new relationships with new prospects, hit annual revenue targets (which varies on territory and accounts and will be assigned to you), sell their entire portfolio of exciting software and capitalise on your existing knowledge of the industry.

The requirements

You will possess a University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business in addition to

  • Being a self-starter with an appetite for success, who is proactive and able to credibly engage with customers whilst remaining entrepreneurial
  • A background in closing large deal sizes and driving sales growth, particularly in software sales for the process manufacturing industry
  • A desire or experience of working within in an “up and coming” culture whilst being a clear and confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess an established network of contacts within the industrial market to utilise
  • A successful track record in sales meeting monthly and annual sales targets
  • Flexible to travel regularly
