The role

As a Sales Account Manager you will play a critical role in growing and expanding their sales in various manufacturing industries. Utilising your knowledge of their core industries, you will grow and nurture a set of big named accounts to help accelerate and realise their ambitious growth plans in the UK. You will have an appreciation for consultative selling techniques and be able to adapt and find solutions to customers unique buying preferences whilst building lifelong relationships. You will also have access to their excellent marketing, sales and product support teams so that you will receive the necessary support at every step of the sales cycle.

The requirements

The successful candidate will ideally possess a degree in Business, Engineering or IT and have:

  • An appreciation for technical product sales into the manufacturing industries with 5+ years of demonstrable experience
  • Ideally a background software and technology sales, particularly ERP or supply chain management
  • Able to build strong internal and external relationships by being a strong communicator, organised and active with your work
  • Experience of CRM software, Google and Microsoft applications
  • Possess a hunter mentality and able to demonstrate a strong track record of achieving against your monthly and annual sales targets
  • Flexible and confident to work either in the office or at home whilst being available for national and international travel
