Job description

Working with a well-backed, high-growth software company pioneering the adoption of its powerful machine-learning predictive maintenance product into the manufacturing sector.

The cutting-edge cloud-based product provides truly scalable prognostics and advanced condition monitoring analysis automatically without the need for expert manual analysis. Due to continued high growth, plans for future fund raising and strong client traction, the company is seeking to engage a sales account manager with a proven track record in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, to help accelerate growth and secure the company’s position as the market leader.

The role

Over the next years, the company has ambitious growth plans which the selected sales account manager will be passionate about realising. 

This a home-based role however a good proportion of your time will be spent with clients in France (and occasionally further afield). This role is a senior role where you will be given considerable freedom and autonomy to grow the role as you see fit. You will report directly to the head of sales and work with sales and marketing colleagues. As the company continues to grow and expand, there will be exciting future promotion opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Achieve growth and hit agreed revenue targets with major multinationals
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures strong presence.
• Build and promote strong, consultative and long-lasting customer relationships (senior management and C-level) 
• Present sales, revenue and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement

The requirements

The successful candidate will ideally possess a degree (although not essential) in addition to:

  • Educated to a strong degree level or equivalent
  • Having a proven track record of selling B2B so5ware to large multi-nationals with long complex sales cycles (requirement)
  • Familiar with Industry 4.0, the Industrial IoT and analytics/machine learning
  • Experience within the manufacturing and industrial sectors
  • Being a tremendous networker with a proven background in building high-level relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
