The role 

As Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a lead and fundamental role in achieving the company’s revenue growth objectives for the geographical territory. You will join an exciting and talented regional sales team who are based across the region to support their efforts in generating new business opportunities in both new and existing accounts. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Managing and reporting inbound and self-generated sales leads 

  • Creating an overall strategic territory plan 

  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Taking ownership of the full end-to-end sales process  

  • Becoming an expert in solution selling with best-in-class account due diligence skills 

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 

  • Tracking and reporting on internal lead management metrics 

  • Supporting the business to achieve annual objectives  

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

 

The requirements 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of software sales experience, as well as…

  • Degree educated in a relevant field 

  • Experience working with Salesforce for a similar CRM system 

  • Proven enterprise F500 sales experience 

  • Track record of quota over-achievement 

  • Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office) 

  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders  

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets 

  • Organised and able to work autonomously 

  • Strong listening and questioning skills 

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively  

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

 

This role is remotely based on the east coast and does require occasional travel across the sales territory.
