FMC’s Digital Plant team are working closely with a fast-growing digital transformation provider headquartered out of Germany. Their IIoT solutions have taken the industrial sector by storm and are widely regarded as one of the Smart Industries top employers thanks to their career progression opportunities, meaningful and exciting projects with global clients, transparency from the management board and ambition to become the best at what they do! As part of their growth journey, they are seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join them in Houston. 

The role 

You will join an exciting and talented sales team in a new business hunting capacity to provide their best-in-class industrial IoT solutions to enterprise accounts in addition to some account management. You will help generate meaningful business outcomes whilst strengthening existing relations as a Senior Account Executive. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with internal and external stakeholders  

  • Understanding customers’ needs and offering them the best Technical and Risk Solutions 

  • Driving new business in your assigned territory and build a plan for this 

  • Engaging with business transformation, new business model development and market change opportunities 

  • Promoting our client’s product portfolio and services to prospects, customers, and partners 

  • Monitoring and recording all sales related activity  

  • Maintaining an accurate forecast of business in the CRM systems (Salesforce.com) 

  • Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue streams to drive business growth  

 

The requirements 

You’ll have at least 10 years’ experience in a new business hunting position, as well as… 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline  

  • Experience with IIoT and manufacturing industry ideally within the OEM and services sectors 

  • A desire or experience of working within a start-up, fast growing culture whilst able to manage a growing brand in the market 

  • Possess a network within the industrial market is desirable whilst having a demonstrable track record of closing large enterprise deals 

  • Excellent track record in managing and closing large enterprise deals 

  • Possess a network within the industrial market is desirable whilst having a demonstrable track record of closing large enterprise deals 

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Able to travel across the territory (when permitted)
