Do you have a strong aptitude for creating successful customer relationships? Our client is seeking a Renewals Specialist to join their sales team in the US.

The role

As a Renewals Specialist you’ll a team of dedicated sales individuals with a focus of supporting the entire renewals lifecycle, from start to finish, to ensure customer satisfaction whilst delivering processes in a timely and accurate manner. You’ll bring your high energy and drive to build strong, trusted customer relationships in order to establish their expectations and generate successful negotiations. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Providing best-in-class renewal support 

  • Liaising with Account Managers to ensure the smooth completion of renewals 

  • Using sales tools to perform monthly audits of all upcoming renewals 

  • Participating in customer meetings to gain a deep understanding of customer requirements

  • Negotiating pricing with customers and ensuring rapid responses to sales requests and queries

 

The requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable success in a SaaS renewals, sales or account management role with proven experience handling complex contract negotiations, as well as: 

  • Background of engaging with stakeholders in the energy, power or aligned industries 

  • An understanding of Salesforce and/or other CRM tools is desirable 

  • 2+ years’ experience using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office with a high level of computer proficiency  

  • Excellent communication skills and able to drive discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Customer-focused and able to build strong interpersonal relationships at all levels 

  • Energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment 

  • Curious with a strong desire to learn

  • Highly organised and with effective prioritisation skills and a track record of meeting deadlines 

  • Detailed-orientated, adaptable and analytical 

  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 30%
