Our client is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to bolster their USA sales operation.  


The company 

Our client is a global leader in the development of advanced software for design, analysis, and optimisation of components for major manufactures within aerospace, automotive, industrial, marine, and power generation industries across Europe, Japan, and USA.  

The role 

As Regional Sales Manager your core focus will be on the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives for the USA and Canadian territories. You will maximise revenues through new and existing customers and manage the complex sales cycles to develop and sell high value propositions.  

This is a professional sales role that would suit a proven Sales Professional who is an exceptional closer with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Establish a deep understanding of customer’ business needs 

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 

  • Growing the company’s products and consultancy services  

  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests 

  • Forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams 

  • Developing competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns 

  • Building strong relationships and trust with customers  

  • Selling complex software into new and existing accounts 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base 

  • Managing the sales department expenses 


The requirements 

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of software sales experience, as well as…  

  • Degree educated in business, sales, marketing, or a relevant field 

  • Exceptional knowledge of company’s product/services, pricing practises and selling skills 

  • Excellent time management and decision-making skills  

  • Technical and consultative background  

  • Strong PC knowledge and various software applications  

  • Professional appearance and presentation required 

  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders  

  • Highly technical with strong analytical skills 

  • Proactive and able to credibly engage with customers 

  • Proven track record in closing large deals and overachieving on targets 

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Travel across the territory (when permitted)
