Are you an experienced medical device sales manager looking for the next step in your career? Our client is a well-respected, innovative medical device company specialising in surgical technologies and is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the South East region (excluding London).
 

The company

We’re working on behalf of a rapidly-growing, international medical device company. They specialise in surgical technologies for minimally invasive surgeries and are known for having a fantastic reputation in the market and offering an excellent training programme. The company are at a phase of expansion and growth, so this is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative team and a forward-thinking organisation as they look to dominate the minimally invasive surgical space!
 

The role

Due to growth, our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for their South East territory, a territory with great expansion plans. In this role you will analyse business trends, implement sales strategies and identify opportunities. You’ll report into the National Sales Manager and will manage a team of Territory Managers in reaching their own sales targets.
 

In this role you will:

  • Manage the Territory Managers in the sales team, including regular one-on-ones to support them with any issues and opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including; physicians, OR personnel and decision-makers in hospitals
  • Establish objectives to review performance and development of your team
  • Formulate the strategy for the South East territory alongside the National Sales Manager

 

The requirements
 

You will live within the designated territory, as well as having:

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Experience in managing a sales team
  • 5+ years of experience with surgical or medical device sales (theatre experience essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Enthusiasm to inspire top performance from your sales team
  • A strategic mind
