Job description | Are you a professional software enterprise seller who relishes a challenge? Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their EMEA operations to drive sales within the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new division within a global company and drive its next wave of growth. The company FMC Smart Industry has partnered with a global consultancy with over three decades of experience in facilitating the success of ambitious projects across a range of industry domains, from energy and defence to telecommunications. They take pride in their forward-thinking culture – they prioritise a proactive approach for each contract and continuously adapt their services with the latest technology to mitigate risks and costs before they emerge. The role As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll join a driven team of sales individuals to discover new opportunities and execute the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiating contracts. Your role will be key to driving the presence of a new division; you’ll translate customer needs into technical solutions using our client’s software, equipment and components and consumable supplies and present product demonstrations and proposals to win over key decision makers. Responsibilities include: - Developing solid relationships with customers, prospects, and our channel partners
- Building and managing a robust pipeline
- Carrying out competitive intelligence on your sector to provide regular feedback on market products and their quality
- Identifying gaps and areas for improvement
- Promoting a successful team culture
- Hitting and exceeding quarterly revenue targets
- Providing accurate forecasts
The requirements The ideal candidate will have strong (5+ years) experience in inside or outside sales with a track record of hitting sales quota, as well as: - Degree educated in a relevant subject
- A background in software sales with knowledge of enterprise software and services
- Experience selling into the Pharma and Manufacturing spaces is highly desirable
- Experience working successfully with channel partners
- Driven team player who can thrive autonomously
- A passion for inspiring team members to grow
- Hunter’s mentality and experience with pursuing new business opportunities
- Detailed-orientated, strategic and organised
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency (including Microsoft Suite and Sales CRM)
- Flexible and willing to travel
