Are you an experienced team manager with a strong background in selling enterprise software and complex technical systems? Our client is looking for a tech-savvy Regional Sales Leader to join their team in North America. 

The company 

With over 100 years of experience, this manufacturing and technology company is at the forefront of the Industrial IoT revolution. Their software solutions have propelled productivity across the aerospace, building technologies, PMT and SPS sectors. Having garnered a global reputation for streamlining performance whilst ensuring safety and security, their products and services can be found on virtually every commercial, defence and space aircraft. 

The role 

As a Regional Sales Leader, you will focus on penetrating our client’s market opportunity by creating acquisition strategies to grow the customer base. You’ll have the opportunity to attract, mentor, and develop a team of talented sales individuals that will provide a service of excellence to the customer base and develop a sustainable business. 
Other responsibilities include…

  • Delivering customer satisfaction by putting strategies and processes in place to meet customer needs 

  • Carrying out competitive intelligence in your sector 

  • Initiating and leading with customer executives to build strong relationships 

  • Providing regular and accurate sales forecasts 

  • Educating and training the sales team by organising programs, seminars and learning-sessions 

  • Holding each sales representative accountable to defined performance plans and overall customer satisfaction  

  • Promoting a results-orientated cultures 

  • Hitting and exceeding quotas 

  • Formulating and executing all sales policies, practices, and procedures 

  • Devising detailed account plans and pipeline assessments 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years’ sales-leadership experience in Industrial B2B sales, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Maths, Engineering or Business Management discipline 

  • At least 5 years experience using CRM and sales methodologies to effectively lead sales teams 

  • Extensive experience in global business and market development 

  • Able to confidently manage complex processes and long sales cycles to ensure successful delivery 

  • Demonstrable front-line sales experience as an individual contributor selling technical products, solutions and services 

  • Robust, commercial leadership expertise 

  • Able to build high-level relationships at all levels including C-Suite 

  • An aptitude for influencing and negotiating with key decision-makers 

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail  

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 

  • Able to travel internationally and across the territory (when permitted)
