Do you have experience selling into NHS Pathology Networks? Do you have a clinical or life science background? We are currently supporting an incredibly well-respected, market-leading medical device company that is looking for a Regional Account Manager for their Specimen Management department for their London and South East region.

The role

As a Regional Account Manager for Specimen Management you’ll join the company’s life sciences division that focuses on the collection and transportation of diagnostic specimens and doing so safely. You’ll be part of the team that helps to discover and diagnose health conditions, including infectious diseases, immunology, and cell biology.

You’ll be responsible for selling a portfolio of products across the NHS and Pathology Networks.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Selling a range of products and solutions across the NHS and Pathology Networks
  • Achieving agreed sales objectives
  • Promoting growth in your territory
  • Developing and drive account plans and sales strategy
  • Working with other stakeholders within your territory
  • Managing multi-account agreements
  • Maintaining and develop strong relationships with customers
  • Providing pre and post-sales support for high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Reviewing metrics and data to drive product growth
  • Identifying and converting opportunities

 

The requirements

You will have a clinical or life science background, as well as…

  • Track record in healthcare sales in medical consumables/devices
  • Knowledge of the NHS and Pathology Networks
  • Experience managing a demanding region
  • Excellent territory planning skills
  • Able to develop and drive new business
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Able to build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Comfortable with travel across the region
