Are you a talented sales individual with experience of selling capital equipment/diagnostic solutions into primary care? Our client is currently looking for a Regional Account Manager to join their team and sell an exciting portfolio of surgical products across the UK. 

The company 

We’re working on behalf of a leading start-up organisation that delivers high-quality imaging of the anorectum, reducing the need for formal endoscopy. Their software connects a wide range of medical devices to enable collaboration with other surgeons across other hospitals nationally and internationally. 
The role 

As a Regional Account Manager, you will be accountable for the sales and market share growth within your territory as well as maximising the impact of marketing plans and company assets. You will also be responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience and helping customers achieve their desired goals. Within this role, you will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels within the Primary Care setting to deliver tangible value to our clients’ proposition. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Selling an exciting portfolio of surgical products within your defined territory 

  • Carrying out business planning and mapping to identify customer opportunities 

  • Planning to identify key decision-makers and influencers within hospital accounts 

  • Building relationships and influencing customers through the selling process 

  • Protecting existing revenue and developing new revenue streams 

  • Providing feedback to management on the sales process and marketing materials 

  • Planning and executing sales activities as well as providing sales support 

  • Promoting and establishing education of the company’s products 

  • Arranging group and 1:1 demonstration of products and services 

  • Managing and responding to customer concerns and problems 

The requirements 

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in a sales role, ideally surgical, with a track record of success, as well as… 

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Experience in customer success and ability to increase customer satisfaction  

  • Comfortable in a hospital environment 

  • Able to build strong relationships with clinical stakeholders 

  • New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships 

  • Able to drive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Detailed oriented, adaptable, and analytical 

  • Able to work collaboratively with other business units 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Competitive and driven to succeed 

  • Flexible and willing to travel
