Job description

We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to join and expand their growth across the Midlands and build on the foundations newly set up for the UK business. This is an exciting time to join our client who has extensive growth plans, as backed by investors.   


The company 

Our client innovates in the design and sales of high-level, environmentally friendly, infection prevention capital equipment, suitable for disinfecting any medical probe without a lumen. Now backed by a board with a very impressive track record of success in the MedTech industry, our client is entering an exciting stage of growth, both in the UK and imminently across the Americas. 


The role 

Within this role, you will create a territory sales plan and build on existing relationships to help generate sales leads, as well as cold-calling and defining new market opportunities. You will negotiate sales, costs, deliveries, and specifications with buyers and ensure a smooth process for all customers by liaising internally with appropriate departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies for achieving and exceeding sales targets  

  • Building an excellent knowledge of all product features, qualities, and benefits

  • Creating proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure

  • Negotiating terms of sales and agreements

  • Assisting customers with the installation of procured products

  • Hosting conference calls or virtual face-to-face meetings with customers

  • Travel to national conferences and trade shows as well as local events 

  • Maintaining accurate records of accounts, transactions, and sales 


The requirements 

You will have experience in a sales role in the UK healthcare environment, ideally within the ultrasound, capital equipment or infection control market, as well as…

  • Degree-level educated in Life Science or equivalent  

  • Track record for sales growth and new business development

  • Strategic thinker

  • Comfortable in fast-changing environments 

  • Fluent English language skills (both written and verbal)

  • Energetic, entrepreneurial, and driven  

  • Highly motivated and commercially minded  

  • Full clean driving licence and willing to travel


This is a field sales role requiring remote working. Due to the nature of the role, varied start times and evening work may be required from time to time.
