Do you want to join one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world? We are currently supporting an incredibly well-respected, market-leading medical device company that is looking for a Regional Account Manager to join their team across the South-Central territory.

Their core focus is on making sure healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical providers and industry partners have the innovative technologies to help advance clinical therapies for patients, clinical processes, and workflow.


The role 

As a Regional Account Manager, you will support our client’s Integrated Diagnostics Solutions (IDS) portfolio that focuses on the collection and transportation of diagnostic specimens and doing so safely. You’ll be part of the team that helps to discover and diagnose health conditions, including infectious diseases, immunology, and cell biology. You’ll be responsible for selling a portfolio of products across the NHS and Pathology Networks. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Achieving agreed on sales objectives 

  • Promoting growth in your territory 

  • Developing and driving account plans and sales strategy 

  • Acting as a brand ambassador and a trusted partner 

  • Identifying cross-functional resources required to implement the territory plans

  • Maintaining records for all customer activities 

  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with customers 

  • Providing pre-and post-sales support for high levels of customer satisfaction 

  • Reviewing metrics and data to drive product growth 

  • Identifying and converting opportunities 


The requirements 

You will have experience within the IVD Diagnostics industry, as well as… 

  • Degree level educated in a scientific subject area 

  • Experience of Pre-Sales, Tendering, Contracting and Implementing with NHS Pathology Services 

  • An understanding of the NHS purchasing process and health system procurement process 

  • Able to lead and implement multiple opportunities of varied complexity  

  • Consistent, track record of sales success 

  • Experience of territory management  

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills  

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office and Salesforce) 

  • An effective teammate

  • Able to build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts 

  • Comfortable with travelling across the region 


This role will cover Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, and Wiltshire.
