The role

Radiotherapy Systems Engineer – Test & Verification
Site-based role in West Sussex
£45,000 plus extensive benefits and a market leading pension scheme.

This position is a rare opportunity to join a small team of technical specialists based at the company's head office in West Sussex. You will be working alongside the R&D teams to hep test and verify changes on highly complex radiotherapy and medical imaging equipment. Your years of experience working as a service engineer in the field will set you in good stead for this role, where you will still be completing PPMs, but some of the fixes and reporting on them can be more complex and challenging.

You’re going to need to be an excellent communicator and you will be using your excellent customer service skills but in a different way, reporting on and communicating your work to the development teams to help move projects forwards.

A background in servicing and fixing highly complex X-Ray, MRI or Radiotherapy equipment would make you a great fit for this position, as this product is both hardware and software intensive, so strong experience of both would really make your application stand out.

Alongside all of this you will be working for an international market leader that are massively investing in newly advanced technologies used in the treatment of cancer.

The requirements

You will have experience working in a service or maintenance role plus:

• 5+ years’ experience working with X-Ray/MRI/Radiotherapy equipment or similar
• Excellent communication skills and be able to convey your work to your peers clearly
• Technically qualified via a degree or relevant apprenticeship in your field
• Based locally to West Sussex and be able to work at site there at least 4 days a week
• A passion for problem solving and fault finding
• A desire to help test and develop products that can truly save lives
