Job description

Do you have strong technical project management and consulting background? Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team remotely across the US.

The company

We are representing a world first in geospatial technology for the industrial sectors, who have created a range of leading enterprise solutions. Their platform allows network operators to create and gather data from a single and accurate source, aiding businesses in meeting their digital transformation goals and KPIs. They currently have over 50,000 active users globally which is rapidly expanding. Our client is made-up of software, telecoms and utility professionals who have utilised their knowledge and experiences to create strong relationships with their customers and the ultimate geospatial solutions.

The role

As a Project Manager, you will join a world leading and dynamic team of professionals to support and implement our clients’ web and mobile mapping software. You will support new recruitment within the team, oversee project team members and set priorities.  

Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to budget 

  • Maintaining positive long-term customer relationships 

  • Managing project risks and issues and resolving them 

  • Providing consultation to clients 

  • Supporting clients’ IT infrastructure and security design 

  • Writing project and technical documentation  


The requirements

You’ll have 7+ years’ of technology and industry experience, as well as:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript and HTML design and development

  • Experience with SQL and RDBMS technology and mobile application development

  • Experience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or web mapping

  • Solid risk management and conflict resolutions skills  

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills  

  • Strong sales and customer service skills  

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office)  

  • Able to prioritise tasks and delegate them when appropriate 

  • Willing to travel up to 25%
