Are you an experienced programme manager used to working with complex software? Do you want to work for a company who are leading the way with innovative technologies? We are currently supporting an award-winning company in the 3D visualisation space. They are looking for a Senior Programme Manager to join their team and manage software projects for their major accounts.

Our client provides 3D visualisation and cloud computing technology to the automotive space and is partnered with some of the biggest names in the market. Specialists in 3D technology, they offer solutions to automotive OEMs that enhance car-buying processes, shaping the future of vehicle shopping with their scalable digital transformation technologies. 

Working with technologies ranging from 3D modelling, to augmented reality, to automation, they are truly one of the UK’s most exciting technology companies. 

The role 

As Programme Manager, you’ll have a lead role in translating client business strategy into a related portfolio of projects. You’ll be responsible for planning and managing these projects and will make sure these are delivered on time and to the highest standards, flawless delivery is your goal! 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Translating client strategy into actionable projects 

  • Planning and managing multiple client projects 

  • Defining clear and robust project approach processes 

  • Leading on projects for a variety of customer accounts 

  • Deliver on projects on time and to budget 

  • Creating strategic account plans for major accounts 

  • Negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders 

  • Working with third parties to agree timescales and quality of deliverables 

  • Using and adapting project management methods and processes 

  • Acting as a lead change agent, able to channel resources effectively 

  • Developing best delivery practice 

  • Representing the company externally 

  • Supervising the work of other Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and other project staff 

The requirements 

You’ll have a strong track record in a Project Management role with demonstrable success delivering software projects for multiple accounts. Other requirements include: 

  • Degree in a relevant subject  

  • Previous experience of business strategy and business operations  

  • Member of an appropriate academic body or industry institution 

  • Able to manage multiple projects and multi-disciplinary workforces  

  • Possess a high degree of business and commercial acumen 

  • Experience using project management methodology such as Prince2, Scrum and PMBoK 

  • Experience with projects with an element of risk 

  • Able to work autonomously  

  • Able to innovate to resolve challenging problems  

  • Sound ability to negotiate internally and externally in stakeholder relationships  

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
