Job description | Our client is seeking an ambitious Product Specialist to join their team across Scotland and manage the current sales business for a range of pain and airway products. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that is constantly working to develop new and improved products that advance patient care and improve clinical outcomes. The company Our client is a leading supplier of medical and surgical devices with a reputation for delivering high quality products across a range of vascular access devices, neonatal care products and anaesthesia products to name a few. They provide outstanding customer service and work closely with healthcare professionals to provide tailored solutions and meet their specific requirements. The role As a Product Specialist you will plan and prioritise sales activities that drive customer engagement and progression of pipeline. You will manage and develop the defined territory, analyse market intelligence, sales, and marketing data, and build a comprehensive understanding of our client’s product portfolio and related policies and objectives. Other responsibilities include: Identifying, developing, and providing an excellent service to all customers Providing high quality training, service, and therapy knowledge Prospecting new opportunities Maximising efficiency and productivity Providing critical information and market intelligence
The requirements You will have at least 18 months of medical sales experience, with an excellent demonstrable sales track record, as well as… Account management experience Experience of selling at consultant and senior decision maker level Product knowledge, therapy knowledge and patient pathway improvement knowledge Working knowledge of procurement channels and NHS OM Local knowledge of procurement partners
Microsoft software knowledge A network of contacts to support your growth in the hospitals you cover Strategic mindset and action orientated Results driven, persuasive and resilient Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
Naturally curious, mindful and exhibit a strong EQ Comfortable working at pace and inject pace in others Full and clean UK driving licence
