One of the UK’s most exciting, award-winning surgical robotics companies is looking for a Product Marketing Executive to join their marketing team and help to execute product marketing strategies for their state-of-the-art surgical robotics system.

The company

Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the art robotics for the minimally invasive surgery space. With a close-knit and family-orientated culture in the business they’re passionate about finding people that will fit in with their mission to make the next generation of surgical robot. Their robot will improve patient care and have a huge impact on the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike.

The role

As Product Marketing Executive you’ll be responsible for assisting in the execution of the product marketing strategy to drive adoption of our client’s robotics platform, as well as the launches of developing products. This role sits at the heart of the business and you’ll be supporting the roll out of truly life-changing surgical technologies.

In this role you’ll be working with a wide variety of internal teams, ranging from other marketing teams to clinical applications and you’ll work on a range of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in a leading company with a strong, growing marketing team. This is a field based role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining sales collateral
  • Helping to maintain and promote a world-class brand
  • Supporting product positioning and messaging
  • Creating content including presentations, whitepapers, case studies and other content
  • Working with the wider marketing team on product launches
  • Being a spokesperson for the robotics system
  • Driving product messaging by working with clinical and education teams
  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns
  • Being a product expert who is able to conduct demonstrations
  • Analysing data and developing reports from this

The requirements

You’ll have experience in a marketing or sales role in a similar field, ideally working with medical or surgical devices and will have a strong clinical understanding. Other requirements include:


  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline
  • 1-3 years' experience in a marketing, product management or sales role within medical devices
  • Able to travel across the UK
  • Experience in a fast-paced company desirable
  • Knowledge of robotic or laparoscopic surgery
  • Experience in a role that brings sales and marketing together to support business growth
  • Able to work cross-functionally
  • Detail orientated and precise
  • Creative and able to produce top quality content
  • Passionate about producing high-quality marketing collateral
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
