Building on their incredible successes of 2021, our client is entering its second major growth phase and is looking for their next Product Manager to join their expanding team. This role will help to identify opportunities to deliver experiences, drive growth and solve complex business challenges.  

 
The company

Our client is a software start-up that provides a decision-making platform that transforms complex data into clear visualisations for schools, hospitals, offices, homes, and water facilities across the country. They are dedicated to empowering project stakeholders to build with confidence. Their cloud-based solutions integrate with estimating tools to present project trends, allowing their customers to make more efficient decisions throughout the preconstruction process.

 
The role

As well as nurturing and supporting core products, our client is taking on significant new opportunities to expand into new audiences. As a Product Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting these business goals by discovering and validating new potential customer pain points and evaluating solutions that will create value. This role is highly visible and cross-functional, working closely with multiple teams across the business.  

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Setting the product vision for your team that supports wider business goals 

  • Setting and measuring quarterly goals for your team to help achieve business outcomes 

  • Owning product strategy and developing a high-level plan roadmap 

  • Driving effective product development  

  • Tracking deadlines and accountability to achieve product launches on time 

  • Clearing defining product launch and phasing  

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners 

 

The requirements

You can articulate how and why decisions are made in a way that your audience understands, as well as… 

  • Strong intuition about user and business needs 

  • Passionate about helping people with technology 

  • Able to identify problems and opportunities  

  • Comfortable analysing data and gathering qualitative inputs  

  • Able to facilitate effective discussions and decision making 

  • Desire to make your product and team successful  

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Proven history of turning fuzzy inputs into clear action plans 

  • Hyper organised and proven track record of meeting deadlines 

  • Enjoys working cross-functionally across the company 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with partners 

  • Experience in the AEC market is a plus
