Job description

Our client is looking for a Product Sales Area Manager to support a variety of industries across the US. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global IoT software company. 

 

The company 

Our client is a global IoT service provider which has been labelled as one of the organisations actively shaping and pioneering the Industrial Internet. Our client supports customers focused on delivering infrastructure, tunnelling, rail, and structural and environmental monitoring. 

 
The role 

As a Product Sales Area Manager, you will make sure that our client’s products are made available across the international markets. You will understand and identify the big distributors and key decision-makers to create business plans to identify new opportunities in this fast-growing marketplace. 

Other responsibilities include… 

  • Planning, designing, and developing sales activities 

  • Researching customer’s needs and requirements 

  • Visiting current customers and building solid relationships

  • Making sure that existing clients are retained and maintained 

  • Delivering upon relevant marketing activities

  • Constantly reviewing performance and providing analysis to the management team

 

The requirements 

You will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position internationally and in the sale of services and equipment, as well as… 

  • Degree in Engineering is a plus 

  • Successful business experience in the field of Sensors, Civil Engineering, Oil & Gas, or Mining

  • A natural curiosity for innovative technologies 

  • A strong geotechnical background would be an advantage

  • Autonomous, strategic, and excellent interpersonal skills 

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills 

  • Able to present a strong value proposition with confidence

  • Culture of quality service and customer relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Flexible and willing to travel (40%-50% of the time, including some international travel) 

  • Based in the US and holds permits to both live and work in the country
