Do you possess effective project management and delegation skills? Our client is seeking for a Principle Consultant to join their team in the US.

Our client is a leading software vendor providing Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Management solutions. They strive to achieve operational excellence to develop a safer, more sustainable, and more productive world. The product can serve a diverse number of sectors, from oil, gas, and petrochemical to discrete manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government, and many more. 

The role 

As a Principle Consultant, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of ESG projects for industry-leading customers spanning a range of industries across the globe. You’ll build trusted, long-term relationships with customers in order to identify their needs and translate them into actionable projects, guiding them through assessments and reporting standards. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Defining clear and robust project approach processes 

  • Lead business development activities with new and existing clients 

  • Collaborating with software solution teams to enhance ESG reporting software solutions 

  • Managing multiple concurrent projects 

  • Leading meetings to present project results  

  • Delivering projects on time and to budget 

  • Creating thought leadership content in your area of expertise 

  • Mentoring on industry best practices and technical knowledge 

  • Working with virtual teams spanning different regions across the business 


The requirements 

You’ll have 7+ years’ experience in delivering carbon management projects in a consultancy environment, as well as: 

  • Demonstrable experience of accounting, reporting and target setting standards 

  • Sustainability degree is desirable 

  • Passionate about reducing corporate environmental impact 

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 

  • Proven project management skills 

  • Technically minded and able to confidently learn new software 

  • Highly organised and able to adhere to project deadlines 

  • Outstanding information gathering and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to engage with customers 

  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) 

  • High level of computer proficiency (including Microsoft Suite) 

  • Flexible and willing to travel internationally 

  • A US work permit
