Our client is currently looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant with 10+ years of pre-sales experience with exposure to SaaS or cloud software in the pharma or manufacturing industry to join their team across the USA.

The role 
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, you will support direct and partner sales opportunities and provide advice on appropriate solutions based on customer requirements. You will convert customer requirements into a state-of-the-art solution to enable the customers to benefit from our client’s industry-leading technology. You will adhere to best practice and industry standards where applicable. 
Other responsibilities include: 

  • Helping the sales team to drive revenue and exceed targets 

  • Translating customer requirements into a workflow solution 

  • Writing technical design documents  

  • Designing and documenting business processes 

  • Reviewing, creating, editing, and testing customer interfaces in various formats (CSV, XML, JSON, etc.) 

  • Supporting user deployment testing activities 

  • Logging product enhancements and defects into the tracking system 

  • Serving as the lead strategist for all implementation and integration requirements 


The requirements 
You’ll have 5+ years of practical Engineering experience working with Cloud-Based Solutions preferred, as well as…  

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical, computer, software or automation 

  • Knowledge of the DSCSA 

  • Able to read and manipulate various technical formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV 

  • Working knowledge of python, JSON structures and XSLT stylesheets 

  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services 

  • Able to use debugging software 

  • Can identify multiple solutions to various problems that may arise 

  • Knowledge of Engineering drawing and working knowledge of ACAD 

  • Comfortable engaging with customers directly and effectively 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Resilient and able to thrive within a fast-paced environment 

  • Comfortable in a highly dynamic environment 

  • Strong computer proficiency (including Microsoft Suite and Salesforce) 

  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally (40%)
