Do you enjoy finding creative solutions to solve complex problems? Our client is currently seeking a tech-savvy Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join their team and drive the energy transition with manufacturers in the traditional and renewable energy markets.

The role 

As Pre-Sales Solution Architect, your core focus will be the quality presentation of our client’s solutions during engagements with a range of Manufacturing industry customers – you’ll act as a consultant and formulate winning proposals through which you will drive the sales pipeline and open new opportunities. Your technical expertise will be highly valued by the Sales team as you’ll provide a range of guidance and support, covering Industry 4.0 trends, sales processes and commercial expertise. 
Other responsibilities include: 

  • Driving pre-sales activity for meetings, activity, and reporting  
  • Establishing a deep understanding of customer and business needs 
  • Understanding our client’s product portfolio and providing support for customers
  • Positioning our client as the partner of choice
  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base 
  • Coordinating and scheduling resources in collaboration with other departments
  • Addressing any concerns about the pre-sales function in a proactive and positive way

 
The requirements 

You’ll be confident in the use of MES software and Cloud Architecture with 4+ years’ experience. A track record of working directly with customers as an advisor and educator is crucial to this role. Other requirements include:
 

  • Degree educated in Engineering, IT or equivalent
  • AWS and/or Azure certifications are desirable
  • Comfortable with presenting technical solutions to customers 
  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively 
  • Driven team player who can collaborate with cross functional teams
  • High level business intelligence and commercial acumen 
  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Fluency English language and ideally a second language (German, Dutch, French..) 
  • Positive, resilient and driven
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the EMEA
