The role

As a Pre-sales Consultant you will deliver the highest quality customer engagement in order to support the sales team in converting opportunities. You’ll focus on penetrating our client’s market opportunity by creating effective sales strategies that expand the customer base in target areas.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Driving pre-sales activity for meetings, activity, and reporting
  • Supporting presentations at exhibitions and conferences
  • Establishing a deep understanding of customer and business needs
  • Understanding our client’s product portfolio and providing support for customers
  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base
  • Coordinating and scheduling resources in collaboration with other departments
  • Addressing any concerns about the pre-sales function in a proactive and positive way

The requirements

The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of the manufacturing industry with demonstrable experience dealing with condition monitoring hardware, as well as:

  • Degree educated in an Engineering discipline
  • Exceptional customer engagement skills with proven experience in a customer facing position
  • Comfortable with presenting technical solutions to customers
  • Able to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • High level business intelligence and commercial acumen
  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills (both written and verbal)
