One of the most successful and fastest-growing enterprise software companies in the world is seeking a top-notch Pre-Sales Consultant to join their team remotely in the US.

Our client produces and supplies software solutions to asset-intensive and highly technical manufacturing industries including aerospace & defence, automotive, oil & gas, energy & utilities, construction and more. Enabling resource planning, asset management and service management this company is the preferred solution provider for millions of business users worldwide. 

Our client partners with their customers to guide them through their digital transformation and extract the most value from their software solutions. 

 

The role 

As Pre-Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the effective use of the resources in the pre-sales team and for providing advice, guidance, coaching and support to the sales organisation. Within this role, you will deliver the highest quality customer engagements, drive pipeline and push opportunities through the funnel. 

Other responsibilities include:  

  • Coordinating and scheduling resources in collaboration with other departments 

  • Working closely with product development, marketing, and sales 

  • Overseeing the proper use of the internal cross-charge budget 

  • Driving pre-sales activity for meetings, activity, and reporting 

  • Overseeing and co-ordinate the bid management process 

  • Addressing any concerns about the pre-sales function in a proactive and positive way 

  • Understanding our client’s product portfolio and providing support for customers 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have experience with construction technology, as well as: 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject 

  • Experience within the construction industry  

  • Prior experience in a pre-sales role  

  • Strong technical and business skills and knowledge of modern software platforms 

  • Relevant knowledge of industry requirements related to ERP solutions 

  • Strong working knowledge of sales and software demonstration processes and protocols 

  • Superior problem-solving and organisation skills 

  • Able to communicate confidently in a clear and concise manner 

  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, with frequent schedule and requirement changes
