The role

As New Business Sales Manager your core focus will be developing and upselling business across vertical market sectors. As an individual contributor, you’ll operate autonomously to form client strategies, manage client solutions, and close on strategic client opportunities. You’ll utilise a consultative approach, communicating the benefits of the product portfolio to leading UK and global customers and aligning our client’s services to meet their business needs in order to position our client as the partner of choice. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategy and growth plans for new and existing accounts

  • Building and expanding a pipeline of sales prospects 

  • Tracking and closing renewal business to deliver on business targets 

  • Building strategic relationships with customers to fully understand their needs

  • Understanding product demand trends in the markets of our client’s customers 

  • Preparing both remote and in-person solution presentations and contract negotiations 

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reporting 

  • Overseeing customer account management 


The requirements

Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of enterprise sales experience with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets. A hunter mentality, with a drive to open new relationships and expanding existing where appropriate, is crucial to this role. Other requirements include:

  • Able to develop strong interpersonal customers at all business levels, including C-suite, both in face-to-face and virtual settings 

  • Detailed understanding of sales process within the IT/software markets  

  • A natural communicator who is customer-focused 

  • Highly organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including MS Office Suite) 

  • Can do attitude with exceptional analytical skills

  • Innovative and able to drive new ideas 

  • Able to thrive working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
