Our client has an unprecedented reputation for bringing to market the gold-standard in surgical visualisation and microscopy technologies. We are looking for a National Business Manager to support their UK team.  
 

The company 

Our client is focused on implementing innovative digital and optical technologies into their specialist range of surgical equipment. This market leader has an impressive reputation for providing healthcare professionals with outstanding products used within Neuro, ENT, MaxFax, Spinal and Gynaecology. They are focused on disrupting treatment pathways and implementing digitalisation into the operating room.  
 

The role 

As National Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for hitting and exceeding our clients’ sales revenue target and achieving the strategic quarterly, annual and mid-term objectives. You will support and motivate a team of Business Development Managers, Account Managers and Clinical Specialists to build and understand a shared objective and vision.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Planning and forecasting sales activity for your territory 

  • Implementing global sales strategies  

  • Developing business development strategies 

  • Conducting market analysis 

  • Clearly outlining KPI’s and activities to ensure delivery 

  • Developing deep market and product knowledge  

The requirements 

You’ll have 10 years’ medical technology industry experience at senior level, as well as… 

  • Degree in a relevant subject 

  • MBA and/or is preferred 

  • Strong understanding of surgical workflows  

  • Detailed understanding of the public and private healthcare markets 

  • Strong clinical understanding and commercial acumen 

  • Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of stakeholder  

  • Able to work collaboratively with interconnected teams  

  • Confident, approachable, and honest 

  • Analytical, methodical, and able to develop new market potential  

  • Able to inspire teams to hit personal and business goals  

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Home base role covering the UK
