Job description | Do you possess both excellent technical and commercial skills? A leader in the medical imaging space is currently looking for an innovative Medical Systems Cloud Manager to join their close-knit team. The company This globally recognised brand is well known for its excellent family culture. With extensive training and development programmes, you will be supported to become an expert in their medical imaging products. As leaders within the x-ray and radiography market, they are investing heavily in their new technology, so that you can be sure you are securing sales for genuinely life-changing equipment. The role As a Medical Systems Cloud Manager, your role will be crucial to multiple medical business units as you’ll create a consistent strategy that strengthens our client’s Cloud solution offerings across the UK and Europe. You’ll bring your creativity to design and develop Cloud services whilst supporting sales by showcasing the benefits of transitioning to Cloud to key opinion leaders and enhancing user experience. Responsibilities include: - Advising the marketing team on the benefits of cloud services
- Supporting bid management and responses
- Driving cost efficiency across the cloud platform
- Ensuring best practices are followed across the UK and Europe
- Identifying and resolving project issues
- Working with third party members to ensure products meet requirements
- Monitoring new technologies within the cloud marketplace
- Providing technical consultancy to engineers for delivery of IT projects related to Cloud
- Mentoring the Service & Implementation team
The requirements You’ll have a strong background as a Public Cloud architect and building strong working relationships with customers, as well as… - Degree educated in a technical discipline, or relevant business experience with a non-technical degree, is desirable
- Experience designing high availability systems and related alternate cloud technologies (including VMWare)
- An understanding of the design and implementation of backup and recovery strategies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server
- Experience of ITIL and/or ISO 20000 processes, as well as the application of Service best practices
- Experience within a healthcare industry role is desirable
- Innovative and able to drive change
- Strategic thinker who is detail orientated and hyper organised
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office)
- Flexible and willing to travel with regular overnight stays
- Full UK driving licence
