Do you have at least 2 years’ post graduate experience in commercial or passenger vehicle driveline engineering? Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands.
Our client design, manufacture and sell advanced single and double deck buses within the automotive market. They have developed a range of low-carbon buses with optimised drive systems, setting the benchmark for fuel economy and CO2 reduction. Their lightweight engineering, premium service and low running costs all contribute to these advanced passenger vehicles designed for a global market.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll research and development several driveline systems including axles, powerpacks, gearboxes, steering, suspension, brakes, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You’ll be ultimately responsible for the design and development of driveline systems for bus and light commercial vehicle applications.
You’ll have at least 2 years’ post graduate experience in commercial or passenger vehicle driveline engineering. Other requirements include:
