FMC are working in partnership with a global medical technology business that are a dominant world leader in the provision of surgical systems. This is an exciting time to be joining the UK operations, which has strong growth projections alongside new products currently being launched into the market coupled with a strategic reorganisation.

The role

A market leader, our client are focused on implementing innovative optical technologies into their specialist range of surgical imaging systems. They have an impressive reputation for providing healthcare professional with outstanding visualisation across Neuro, Ophthalmology, ENT and Spinal theatre environments. They are currently going through an exciting period of expansion and development within their global operations and the UK has been identified as their key focus for investment, product launches and market growth within this particular product segment. 

We are looking for a surgical capital equipment sales professional to join the established team with the focus on supporting one of the organisations key regions. The equipment in this portfolio is particularly high value, therefore a clear understanding of the capital sales process is essential.

The requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable sales track record of working within medical capital equipment sales with a focus on surgical systems. This could be across any medical/clinical discipline, so long as there is a complexity to the portfolio.

·Must have either existing experience of developing commercial relationships across all levels of staff within a NHS or Private Hospital environments

·Proven track record of capital equipment sales – high value systems

·Accustomed to supporting products in the theatre environment

·Ability to manage a long-term sales process and support each step of this

·Technically minded with the ability to absorb information and translate this into engaging information for the customer

·Some experience of supporting new product launches would be ideal
