Are you an experienced marketeer currently working in a B2B role? Do you want to manage both online and offline media for a leading ophthalmic company? Our client is currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team and support marketing plans for the business.


The company

Providing the ophthalmic and optometric markets with high quality and innovative products, are client are a known for providing both excellent products and excellent customer service and support. They work with a variety of leading international manufacturers to bring the latest in innovative technology to the market, making them a leading distributor in the space.

From tonometry to refraction, surgical to dry-eye, our client provides a wide range of products to the ophthalmic markets with the aim of improving both patient outcomes and efficiencies within clinical environments.


The role

As a Marketing Executive your role will focus on growing and supporting marketing plans for both online and offline media for our client and their range of innovative ophthalmic technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing offline and online media plans
  • Managing and executing social media content plans
  • Promoting the product portfolio to the market via education and demonstration
  • Helping to create and implement a digital marketing strategy
  • Developing product launch campaigns
  • Creating and sending a monthly newsletter
  • Assisting in the creation of product press releases
  • Performance and marketing KPI reporting
  • Providing marketing support at events and trade shows


The requirements

You will have at least one years’ experience in a B2B marketing role. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification/training
  • Eager to get involved in planning and implement change
  • Experience in/knowledge of ophthalmic/optical market desirable but not essential
  • Excellent computer literacy skills (including MS Office)
  • Experience using Photoshop and other Adobe applications
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Organised and able to manage multiple activities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident with building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience with website content management desirable
