Our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and trustworthy Marketing Executive to join their close-knit team across the North West, UK and support marketing plans for the business.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading companies in the diagnostic and surgical ophthalmology spaces. They are passionate about developing a range of high-quality, innovative optical technologies for the treatment of eye diseases and vision impairment. With a reputation for quality, they are known for providing outstanding products to the healthcare market. 

 

The role 

As a Marketing Executive your role will focus on growing and supporting marketing plans for both online and offline media for our client and their range of innovative ophthalmic technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing offline and online media plans

  • Managing and executing social media content plans

  • Promoting the product portfolio to the market via education and demonstration

  • Helping to create and implement a digital marketing strategy

  • Developing product launch campaigns

  • Creating and sending a monthly newsletter 

  • Assisting in the creation of product press releases

  • Performance and marketing KPI reporting

 

The requirements

You will have at least one years’ experience in a B2B marketing role, as well as…  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification 

  • Eager to get involved in planning and implement change

  • Knowledge of or experience in the ophthalmic market is desirable  

  • Exceptional computer literacy skills (including MS Office)

  • Experience using Photoshop and other Adobe applications

  • Organised and able to manage multiple activities

  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Confident with building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders

  • Experience with website content management desirable
