The role 

As Market Development Manager, you’ll establish the direct sales, promotion, and market development within the Respiratory Endoscopy portfolio. Within this role you will target new customers and demonstrate medical and surgical equipment to clinical staff with a view to grow market share for the portfolio.  

Other responsibilities:  

  • Developing and growing the Respiratory Endoscopy portfolio 

  • Working to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements  

  • Implementing ‘go to market’ strategy for products within the portfolio 

  • Managing and forecasting the sales opportunities through to successful completion 

  • Delivering pre and post sales training and support for new and existing customers 

  • Managing your diary effectively to maximise customer interactions 

  • Co-ordinating the clinical activity including patient and product demonstrations 

  • Building advanced selling techniques and knowledge of the respiratory product portfolio 


The requirements 

You will have 3+ years’ experience within the healthcare industry field sales environment, ideally with a proven track record of introducing new products into the market, as well as… 

  • Degree level educated 

  • Proven track record of exceptional customer satisfaction  

  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively  

  • Highly skilled in organising and managing multiple demands 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills  

  • Strong commercial acumen 

  • Well-developed strategic and analytical skills  

  • Flexible and willing to travel throughout the UK & Ireland 

  • Occasional overnight stays (when required)
