FMC are partnered exclusively with a diversified global medical technology company. The organisation is gearing up for transformation and are seeking a Finance Director with experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations to become a key member of the EMEA leadership team. 

The role 

As the Manufacturing Finance Director, you will be responsible for designing new plant manufacturing finance processes and delivering a 5-year strategic financial plan for the Supply Chain Operations business across EMEA manufacturing sites, including Germany and Switzerland. 

Other responsibilities include:

• Driving productivity across the SCO functions $1BN of annual spend 

• Ensuring ROI on investments 

• Maintaining accurate quarterly projections for the SCO manufacturing EMEA 

• Developing long term strategic and annual plans 

• Identifying cost improvement opportunities 

• Working in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders 

• Establishing and owning the operations controlling the EMEA Plants 

The requirements

You will have experience operating in a global matrix organisation, as well as ideally holding some of the following…

• University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or another Numeric-based subject 

• Strong financial planning experience  

• Robust presentation and interpersonal skills  

• Ability to independently develop innovations solutions  

• Strong analytical ability that results in driving positive change 

• Excellent communication skills  

• A self-starter who can work on their own initiative  

• Creating new ideas to solve problems and drive simplification and better outcomes 

• Fluent in English and German is mandatory  

This role is located in Germany, with Cologne, Dusseldorf, and Bonn the closest cities. We are open to candidates based in other regions of Germany, if relocation to the region, or another company site is possible.
