Are you looking for that first step into medical sales? Do you have a passion for Urology, yet would like to work within a field sales role? I am supporting a dynamic and specialised organisation that sit within the Urology and Endoscopy field.

The role

Urology can be recognised as one of best paying therapy areas for an individual to progress within medical sales that can provide great fields for progression.

Due to the dynamic nature and specialised portfolio, my client is seeking a pro-active and driven individual to join their sales team as a Key Account Manager/Sales Representative within the South East.

The business is rapidly growing throughout the UK and Europe and planning to continue with this growth into 2019. Through acquisition, the organisation support clients and distributors across the globe and pride themselves on the support and first class customer service they can provide to allow them to stand out compared to the industry giants.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for covering London and the South East with maintaining and creating new business with a focus on urology devices. This will involve contacting potential customers at hospitals and clinics to grow the business and perform product demonstrations, installations and application support.

To be successful within this post, the hiring manager is seeking an individual that is passionate about progressing their career within medical sales. Shadowing experience would be advantageous to this position or demonstrable experience showcasing a passion within healthcare.

With a focus on urology devices, the successful individual will be degree educated within a scientific discipline and has a great aptitude to learn new products.

The requirements

You will live outside the M25, but aside from this you will also have:

  • A Bachelor degree in life science, Business, or other relevant technical industries.
  • Shadowing experience is desirable within medical devices
  • A commercially driven attitude with the ability to establish relationships
  • Demonstrable examples of working with technical instruments
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence – Up to 5 points considered.
