Job description

Our client is looking for a talented Account Manager with a technical background in Process Control, Automation, Digitisation or SaaS to join their Process Solutions sales team in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-known brand with a continued focus on innovation and growth.

Having garnered a global reputation for streamlining performance whilst ensuring safety and security, their products and services can be found on virtually every commercial, defence and space aircraft. 

The role

In this role, you will be a business partner to each customer, build an understanding of their business, drivers and organisation and establish a defensive barrier to competitors. You will manage the dissemination of key messages, initiatives and information about the value our client brings to that specific customer.  

Other responsibilities include:

  • Actively participate in new product development programs 

  • Reviewing and supporting New Product Induction processes  

  • Acting as the primary supplier interface for all products 

  • Articulating and delivering value proposition  

  • Leading momentum through the sales cycle, identifying opportunities, negotiating, and closing 


The requirements

You’ll have sales experience in solution sales within Process Control, Automation, Digitisation and SaaS, as well as:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline

  • Demonstrates a clear track record of sales targets 

  • Experience in managing the end-to-end Sales Process 

  • Awareness of CO2 Capture and Hydrogen Developments  

  • Knowledge of DCS, MES or APC solutions 

  • Knowledge of HPS or competitor 

  • Previous experience with CRM application 

  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of our client’s solutions 

  • Effective collaborator and communicator with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills 

  • A technical qualification is desirable  

  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven
