Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with a track record of account management in the NHS? A leader in the medical devices space is currently looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to join their team during an exciting period of growth. 

The company 

Our client is a leading high-growth international teleradiology organisation who supports radiology departments globally. They continue to be the fastest-growing teleradiology provider in the world and are well placed for sustained growth and increased demand. Our client offers exceptional coverage to hospitals in need of urgent services that are spread and interconnected across the world.

The role 

As a Key Account Manager, you will become the lead contact for a portfolio of clients including several key accounts. You’ll be responsible for determining the sales strategy across the full life cycle contract renewal process, with the aim of driving new business and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Upselling and cross-selling across accounts 

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets 

  • Carrying out CRM account management 

  • Preparing client presentations and reports 

  • Presenting and pitching to senior hospital management 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Providing rapid responses to customer queries and requests 

  • Attending exhibitions and conferences 

The requirements 

You’ll have 3+ years in NHS account management experience within radiology, with at least 6 years of professional experience, as well as: 

  • Detailed understanding of NHS purchasing and procurement 

  • Extensive experience in NHS contracting and contract renewals including pricing, negotiation and closing 

  • Proven track record in growing and retaining accounts 

  • Experience in managing large service accounts 

  • Proactive and able to credibly engage with customers 

  • Excellent articulation and negotiation skills 

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Detail-orientated and analytical 

  • Highly self-disciplined, organised and able to work autonomously 

  • Flexible and willing to travel 

  • Ideally located across Yorkshire, Leeds or Harrogate
