Job description

Are you an energetic self-starter with a background of success in Radiology or Medical Device sales? Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team in Ireland.

FMC Meditech has partnered with an exclusive radiology equipment provider that is blazing new trails across the UK healthcare market with its portfolio of medical imaging devices. The role 
As a Key Account Manager, your core focus will be developing a strategy to accelerate the sale of our client’s radiology portfolio across Ireland. By utilising a partnership approach, you will establish trusted long-term relationships with executive customers in key accounts that will enable you to build the sales pipeline and establish our client’s market position. 
Responsibilities include: 

  • Managing day-to-day aspects of customer accounts 

  • Evaluating the overall effectiveness of the territory 

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement 

  • Undertaking data analysis of commercial opportunities 

  • Maintaining a high level of competitive intelligence 

  • Operating within budget 

  • Representing the company at executive meetings 

  • Providing monthly updates and progress against KPIs 

The requirements 
You will have proven success (3+ years) in a healthcare sales role with demonstrable working knowledge of effective sales and marketing strategy, as well as: 

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline, ideally to MSc level 

  • Consideration is given to qualified Radiographers with 5+ years of clinical experience 

  • Experience working in a global healthcare-focused technology enterprise  

  • High level of business intelligence and commercial and/or financial acumen 

  • Analytical and strategic with an aptitude for problem-solving 

  • A leader and team builder with personality and cultural skills  

  • Familiar with theatre and clinical environments 

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with all levels of staff 

  • Customer-focused and keen to drive great customer experience 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Able to confidently undertake multiple projects and influence decision-making 

  • Full UK Driving License 

  • Flexible and willing to travel across the territory 

  • Positive, driven and results-orientated
