Do you have a strong sales track record in the AEC space? Do you want to join a leading BIM software developer? Our client is an innovative organisation who develop BIM software for architects. They are currently looking for a Sales Director to join their team and action sales strategy for the UK and Ireland.

Our client is a leading BIM software developer known for being the industry first BIM software for Architects. Focused on providing professionals in the architecture space with innovative, advanced technologies, our client’s award-winning solutions boast impressive BIM workflows and user-friendly interfaces. Our client provides multiple innovative solutions meaning they continue to lead the industry to this day, following the latest technologies, trends and software solutions. 

The role 

Our client is now currently looking for Sales Director to lead sales growth in the UK and Ireland. In this role you’ll be driving the adoption of our client’s software into AJ100 practices as well as maintain and growing accounts. This role is focused on both strategy and key account management. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Working closely with senior leadership to create and action the sales strategy for the UK and Ireland 

  • Increasing the attach rate with both new and existing customers 

  • Increase recurring license revenues 

  • Developing new business 

  • Looking after direct and channel sales relationships 

  • Managing and mentoring a sales team 

  • Contributing to business reporting and forecasting 

  • Developing strong relationships with key accounts 

  • Proposing solutions to customers that meet their objectives 

  • Resolving any customer problems 

  • Following up on new sales leads to generate new business 

 

The requirements 

The successful candidate will hold the following strengths; 

  • At least 5 years’ experience selling into the AEC industry 

  • Knowledge of and experience in the AEC industry 

  • Already have a working knowledge and understanding of BIM. 

  • Ability to manage and develop existing larger customers 

  • Ability to create and close new sales opportunities 

  • Experience of successfully running a small sales team 

  • Confident, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and strong telephone matter.? 

  • Knowledge of the IT industry, specifically CAD, or architectural knowledge would be an advantage 

  • Knowledge of AJ100 and contacts within the industry 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • A confident negotiator
