Job description

Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their team who is eager to move into a progressive sales and customer service-based role in Warwickshire.  

The company

Our client specialises in providing opticians with high-quality eyewear products and essential supplies across the UK and are committed to using the latest technology and techniques in the industry. They offer a range of products, including prescription glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, from leading brands in the industry. They also provide comprehensive eye exams and consultations with their team of experienced and qualified optometrists. 
 

The role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing customer accounts and speaking with our client’s existing database of customers to recommend key products and services.  
Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing an assigned database of customers 

  • Targeting inactive account 

  • Searching for new business opportunities 

  • Meeting monthly KPI targets and company objectives 

  • Attending site visits, exhibitions, conferences, and events nationally 

  • Dealing with inbound calls  

  • Establishing strong relationships and build rapport  

  • Keeping the database updated at all times  

 
The requirements
You’ll have at least 1 year of experience making outbound calls to customers, as well as…

  • 3+ years of experience working in a sales environment  

  • Knowledge of the Optical industry is a significant advantage but not essential if you have sales or account manager experience  

  • Experience in achieving KPIs 

  • Professional and confident phone manner 

  • Capable of gaining product knowledge quickly 

  • Ability to handle all levels of customer types up to Director level  

  • Passionate, ambitious, outgoing, and confident  

  • Full UK Driving Licence
