Job description

Our client is introducing a range of new and exciting automotive technologies across their range of motorcycles and are looking to bring in an experienced Integration Engineer to join their team in Leicestershire.

The role 

As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the project timings of the whole vehicle system including testing, compatibility, integration, and issue investigation. You will also support prototype and production stages and manage the roll-out and vehicle sign off. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Integrating model specific Electrical systems  

  • Managing model configurations 

  • Investigating vehicle level issues  

  • Supporting the vehicle build 

  • Supporting vehicle testing 

  • Undertaking projects and duties as required by your manager  

The requirements 

You’ll have previous experience of working within an automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environment, as well as…  

  • BEng or MEng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering 

  • Strong understanding and technical awareness of automotive electrical systems 

  • Self-motivated, resilient, flexible, and adaptable 

  • Able to communicate technical information clearly  

  • Able to work in a multi-discipline team environment  

  • Hyper-organised, strong decision-making skills and plans ahead 

  • Strategic thinker who looks for more agile and effective ways of doing things 

  • Dynamic, assertive and driven 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office)  

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills 

  • Flexible and willing to undertake UK and overseas travel as required
